Day 20: Coldspring, TX to Navasota, TX

Susan made us another stellar pancake breakfast and while we were eating a thunderstorm came through. We decided to wait it out so only managed to get rolling just before midday.

The sun shone through and it was a quick rolling road from Susan & Brent's so we made good progress to New Waverly for lunch. The first (of many, I imagine) authentic Mexican restaurant provides a perfect pit-stop. Ken got mistaken for a Mexican so we're fully integrated right away.

Heading west on FM1375 we split our the way through Sam Houston National Forest proper and it was a great road.

The road was small ups and downs for the majority of the day so ended up being quite a tiring one. We descended into Navasota and the sunset milkshake felt deserved.

Navasota RV Park on the west side of town is our overnight spot tonight. Little more than a roadside field but it does have toilets and a shower we can use.

A quick cycle to the Mexican shack in town and some Carnitas this time.

Round Two. Ken struggling on which of the three extensive menus to order from.
